The Environmental Project Manager will oversee projects from inception to completion, coordinating staff, clients, and subcontractors while ensuring scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements are met.

Qualifications

• BA/BS +4 years of relevant Project Manager experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Responsibilities

• Obtain AECOM Project Management Certification within one year of onboarding.
• Collaborate with project teams and management in the development of strategies and plans.
• Serve as primary client point of contact on a variety of projects.
• Provide overall management and administration to projects and assisting in establishing project-specific objectives and policies.
• Support federal proposals including technical approach and costing.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforce company and project policies, maintain close client interface, and ensure all facets of the project are conducted in accordance with design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
• Work mostly independently but receives basic guidance on specific assignments, objectives, complex features, contract management, and financial performance.
• Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects. Engage subject matter experts when needed.
• May supervise junior/ mid-level engineers and scientists (all disciplines applicable), as well as project administration, project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating, and procurement representatives.
