Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer, Scientist, Geologist / Project Manager to join its Bethlehem, PA team. This role manages environmental investigation and remediation projects, delivers technical proposals and reports, and supervises field investigations while developing staff.

You will interact with clients, coordinate with multiple offices, and contribute to project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• LEED AP or PE certification.
• 6+ years of related work experience.
• Proficient in environmental due diligence.
• Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software.
• Hazwoper training and annual certification.
• Strong regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent public speaking and written communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and judgment skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends as projects require.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Perform complex analyses for portions of projects.
• Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
• Draft proposals, reports, and other documents.
• Identify and pursue new clients; develop additional work.
• Oversee and coach junior staff.
• Coordinate work across offices and disciplines.
• Interface with clients, contractors, staff and project teams.
• Perform other duties as requested.
