Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer, Scientist, Geologist / Project Manager to join its collaborative team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role manages environmental investigation and remediation projects, delivers technically excellent services, prepares proposals and reports, and guides staff.

You will have opportunities to develop project and staff management skills, work with clients, and contribute to exciting projects of varying scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• LEED AP or PE certification required or preferred.
• 6+ years of related work experience in environmental engineering/science.
• Proficiency in environmental due diligence and regulatory requirements.
• Strong writing, speaking, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Supervise field activities and interpret results.
• Develop proposals, reports, and client communications.
• Coordinate multiple projects within budgets and schedules.
• Mentor and manage junior staff; participate in hiring.
• Collaborate across offices and disciplines; liaise with clients and contractors.
