Job summary

EnviroVantage, Inc., a leading New England environmental specialty and demolition contractor, is seeking Project Managers to lead complex commercial, industrial, government and residential projects across New England and the Mid-Atlantic.

You will own projects from award to completion, establish objectives and budgets, procure materials, guide field teams, manage schedules and costs, and communicate with clients to resolve scope issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager in construction/environmental remediation.
  • Experience managing federal government contracts preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a federal government background screen.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a project upon award and see through to completion.
  • Establish project objectives, milestones, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Procure supplies and materials to complete a project buy-out.
  • Oversee Foremen/Superintendents to plan, organize and direct activities related to schedule, labor, equipment, materials and disposal.
  • Monitor production and project costs to ensure each job is completed on schedule.
  • Review and sign off on daily manpower and progress reports for their jobs.
  • Continually update a 3‑week look ahead for all projects.
  • Interact with the customer and lead on negotiation for any scope discrepancy or issues on the job site.
  • Proactively develop relationships with subcontractors.
  • Oversee all change order requests and submit with estimating and finance.
  • Responsible to ensure project close out package is completed, and job can be billed in full.
