Job summary

EnviroVantage is seeking a Project Manager to own projects from award to completion, coordinating with foremen, subcontractors, and clients while controlling scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in construction or environmental remediation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a federal background screen. OSHA HAZWOPER/30 certs (or willing to obtain within 30 days) are preferred. This role supports projects across New England.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as Project Manager in construction or environmental remediation
• Experience managing federal government contracts preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass a federal government background screen

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a project upon award and see through to completion
• Establish project objectives, milestones, budgets, and project schedules
• Procure supplies and materials to complete a project buy-out
• Oversee and provide guidance to Foremen/Superintendents to plan, organize and direct activities related to schedule, labor, equipment, materials and disposal on their jobs
• Monitor production and project costs to ensure each job is completed on schedule
• Review and sign off on daily manpower and progress reports for their jobs
• Continually update a 3-week look ahead for all projects
• Interact with the customer on a regular basis and be the lead on negotiation for any scope discrepancy or issues on the job site
• Proactively develop relationships with subcontractors
• Oversee all change order requests and submit in conjunction w/ estimating and finance
• Responsible to ensure project close out package is completed, and job can be billed in full

Certifications:

• OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training. If not current, willing to get certificate within 30 days of hire
