Job summary

EnviroVantage, Inc in Portland, ME is seeking a Project Manager to lead environmental remediation and demolition projects across New England. You will own projects from award to close-out, setting objectives, schedules, budgets, and coordinating with foremen, subcontractors, and clients.

The role requires at least 5 years in project management in construction or environmental fields, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a federal background screen; OSHA 40/HAZWOPER and OSHA 30

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in construction and/or environmental remediation.
• Experience managing federal government contracts preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Must be able to pass a federal government background screen.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a project upon award and see through to completion.
• Establish project objectives, milestones, budgets, and project schedules.
• Procure supplies and materials to complete a project buy-out.
• Oversee and provide guidance to Foremen/Superintendents to plan, organize and direct activities related to schedule, labor, equipment, materials and disposal on their jobs.
• Monitor production and project costs to ensure each job is completed on schedule.
• Review and sign off on daily manpower and progress reports for their jobs.
• Continually update a 3-week look ahead for all projects.
• Interact with the customer on a regular basis and be the lead on negotiation for any scope discrepancy or issues on the job site.
• Proactively develop relationships with subcontractors.
• Oversee all change order requests and submit in conjunction w/ estimating and finance.
• Responsible to ensure project close out package is completed, and job can be billed in full

EnviroVantage is looking for Project Managers in the Portland, ME area.
