As a Environmental Project Manager supporting our growing team in Middletown, CT, your expertise will directly contribute to site development and remediation projects that improve the community\'s environmental health and resiliency. You will work on complex projects including site assessment and remediation, wetland & stormwater design, landfill engineering & closures, and environmental due diligence. As a prominent member of the team, you will also play a key role in mentoring and fostering the professional development of emerging talent.

A successful Project Manager in this role will demonstrate the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and drive complex projects, from initiation to completion, with clarity and purpose. What You\'ll Do

• Manage all aspects of due diligence assessment, environmental monitoring, and reporting activities with full responsibilities for multiple projects for a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate, industrial, institutional, and public sector clients
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with peers, junior staff, clients, and vendors to develop scopes of work, written proposals, and final deliverables
• Managing field and peer staff, subcontractors, client representatives, and other stakeholders to develop and meet project schedules and milestones, manage project financial performance, and bring projects to successful completion
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking
• A sense of pride, ownership, and commitment to contributing to high-quality end results for our clients

What You Bring

• Bachelor\'s degree in geology, environmental engineering, or a related discipline
• 5-10 years of experience in site investigation, conceptual model development, and remediation with 2-6 years of project management experience
• Understanding of state and Federal environmental regulatory frameworks in the Northeast; experience in ASTM/AAI transactional due diligence
• Experience with proposal preparation accompanied by strong technical writing skills
• Demonstrated experience with site characterization, environmental sampling techniques, methodologies (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapor, indoor air, etc.), data analysis, remediation technologies, etc.
• Experience managing staff, subcontractors, and client representatives
• Project Management certification preferred
• PG or PE License preferred

Salary Range

The compensation range starts at $85,000 annually and may increase based on experience and licensure.
