Job summary

Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) seeks an Environmental Project Manager to join our Pittsburgh, PA Headquarters team.

You will lead environmental projects including Phase I and II ESAs, subsurface investigations, and soil management plans, coordinating with engineers, scientists, and lenders throughout project lifecycles. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and grow into increased leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience, including Phase I and Phase II assessments.
• ASTM E1527-21 training a plus.
• Experience writing environmental site assessment reports and interpreting data.
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania Act 2 Program and Pennsylvania's Fill Policy a plus.
• Experience collecting environmental samples and reviewing lab reports.
• Ability to travel for work-related business.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Phase I/II assessments and related environmental services.
• Coordinate with engineers, scientists, and clients to define scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop recommendations relevant to project objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build client relationships.
• Travel regionally as required to support projects.
