Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Services Group (QISG) in Kentucky seeks an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental services on field projects, interfacing with clients, regulators and partner teams.

You will manage routing/siting, permitting, and environmental surveys, ensure schedule, budget and compliance, and mentor staff while advancing project objectives for electric transmission and large-scale energy programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 4–7 years of progressive environmental project management experience.
• Knowledge of routing, siting, and environmental permitting.
• Familiarity with NEPA, CWA, ESA and NHPA frameworks.
• Strong client relationship and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of QISG environmental services on projects, building client trust and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee routing/siting, major permitting, and environmental surveys.
• Coordinate with GIS, land rights, engineering, and construction teams to embed environmental requirements in the schedule.
• Manage OpUs, teaming partners, and consultants to align with project goals and regulatory obligations.
• Track schedules, budgets and risks; ensure compliance and timely reporting to leadership.
