Job summary

WSP is seeking an Environmental Engineer (Professional Engineer) to join our Earth & Environment team across multiple Ohio offices including Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, and Cleveland, with projects across the Midwest. Expect a mix of office-based and field work, strong client interaction, and leadership in project delivery.

You will develop environmental solutions, coordinate with teams, and mentor junior staff while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing processes and infrastructure for water, wastewater, waste disposal, air emissions, and pollution control.
• Help preserve air, water, and land quality.
• Generate accurate field-condition reports and documentation.
• Assess risks to ecological and human health and advise accordingly.
• Ensure tasks meet industry standards and QA/QC procedures.
• Support safety and regulatory compliance in the workplace.
• Provide technical proposals and reports; mentor junior staff.
