Job summary

Fishbeck’s Dayton, OH team is seeking a Water/Wastewater Process Engineer/Project Manager. You will manage projects from planning through construction, coordinating design across disciplines and mentoring staff.

The role offers leadership growth within the firm and market sector, with opportunities for client engagement and cross-functional collaboration. Ideal candidates hold a PE registration, a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, and 8+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
• 8+ years of water and/or wastewater process engineering experience.
• Strong facility planning and design experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage water and wastewater projects from concept through construction.
• Lead facility master plans, alternatives analyses, feasibility studies, and preliminary engineering reports.
• Coordinate design efforts across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Develop construction documents, specifications, and permitting packages.
• Build relationships with municipal and utility clients.
• Mentor and develop staff.
• Support business development efforts, proposals, and industry involvement.
