Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Environmental Engineer (Professional Engineer) to join our Earth & Environment team. The role is based primarily in Columbus, Ohio, with consideration for Cincinnati, Dayton, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Lexington and Louisville.

You will work on air, water and land resources projects delivering environmental consulting services to clients. The position emphasizes independent project management, technical reporting, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing processes for water, wastewater, hazardous waste, air emission sources, and pollution control.
• Prepare technical reports detailing field conditions.
• Manage projects and support client relationships.
• Ensure QA/QC and industry standard compliance.
• Support subcontractors and field activities as needed.
