Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• 8+ years of proven technical environmental consulting experience
• Project management/coordination experience
• Soil/Groundwater/Vapor sampling, data evaluation, and report preparation
• Experience managing field teams and drillers
• Experience managing projects under regulatory programs like VCUP, OPS, etc.
• Client communications/management experience
• Must be detail-oriented, and a team player with excellent communication, analytical, and organization, as well as time and budget management skills
• Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one’s discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Valid Driver's License and reliable driving recordrequired
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Assist with Phase I/II ESAs, asbestos and lead-based surveys, UST/LUST assessments, site remediation, and soil/groundwater sampling.
• Develop work scopes, prepare reports, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and assess actions.
• Manage Environmental Site Assessments following ASTM standards.
• Install soil borings and monitoring wells; support remediation activities and waste management.
• Author technical reports and proposals.
• Support planning, monitoring, and controlling project budgets and relationships with clients and team.
