Job summary

Cape Fox Expeditionary is seeking an entry-level Environmental Project Coordinator to support a growing portfolio of federal environmental contracts. This role offers hands-on exposure to USACE and NAVFAC processes, and to large‑scale remediation and compliance efforts under cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in an environmental field, 0–2 years of related experience, and strong organizational and communication skills. Travel up to 25–30% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant environmental field (graduation by start date acceptable).
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or federal contracting.
• Basic understanding of environmental regulations and delivery processes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25–30%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day environmental projects, including remediation and compliance activities.
• Prepare and submit project deliverables such as work and sampling plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, labs, and regulators.
• Track schedules, budgets, and deliverables; flag issues to leadership.
• Maintain organized project files and QA records per standards.
• Attend meetings, site visits, and client teleconferences; record action items.
• Help develop environmental proposals and basis-of-estimate.
• Support compliance with CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, NEPA, and DoD policies.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
