Job summary

Chewy is seeking an Environmental Program Manager to support the Chewy Fulfillment Network. The EPM will develop standards, monitor metrics, and guide construction and operations teams in implementing Chewy environmental requirements at sites.

This hands-on role involves site inspections, audits, and collaboration with contractors, consultants, and multiple departments to ensure regulatory compliance and a proactive safety culture across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in chemistry, chemical or environmental engineering.
• 2+ years' experience as environmental resource, program specialist, or program manager.
• Experience with regulatory assessments, air permits, NPDES/POTW, and waste management.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Manage local, state, and federal environmental regulations and Chewy policy.
• Develop strategic programs with engineering, construction, and operations.
• Drive an environmentally responsible culture.
• Interact with regulatory agencies and evaluate permits.
• Ensure contractors and employees comply with regulatory and Chewy standards.
• Develop environmental metrics to monitor performance.
• Conduct inspections and audits for continuous improvement.
• Represent Chewy with governmental agencies and partners.
