Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Environmental Program Manager to lead a major environmental planning and permitting program for a New York City public-sector client. You will oversee multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with agencies across NYC and NY/NJ, delivering CEQR/SEQRA/EIS documentation and environmental analyses.

The role requires senior-level leadership, strong client-facing skills, and a track record managing programs with large capital budgets.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and proven program management experience on large public-sector projects.
Experience navigating CEQR/SEQRA/EIS processes and coordinating with NYC agencies.
Strong leadership and communication skills with client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as Program Manager for a large environmental planning and permitting program.
Lead multidisciplinary teams of planners, scientists, and engineers.
Direct preparation of CEQR EAS/EIS and SEQRA documentation.
Coordinate with NYC agencies and stakeholders and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules.
Mentor staff and support business development in municipal markets.
