Job summary

The City of New York's Department of Design and Construction seeks an Environmental Project Manager to oversee environmental consultants, drilling contractors, and field teams on capital projects.

You will review Phase I/II ESAs, permits, HASP, FSP, MHP, and RAP, and ensure designs and reports meet federal, state, and NYC regulations; perform site visits and develop remedial action plans to mitigate hazards.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree in engineering/architecture or related field.
• At least 1 year in supervising project management for engineering/architectural projects.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental consultants and drilling contractors for technical accuracy, timeliness and cost-effectiveness.
• Review design documents, Phase I/II ESAs, permits, HASP, FSP, MHP and RAP.
• Conduct field visits and manage projects of varying complexity to meet regulatory standards.
