Responsibilities include overseeing environmental studies, coordinating complex programs, and representing TxDOT with agencies at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in archeology, geology, history, industrial safety/engineering or natural resources.
• 6 YEARS engineering, environmental, geosciences, natural resources, safety, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees environmental studies for clearance of transportation projects.
• Directs the design, coordination and monitoring of complex environmental programs.
• Represents the Department at local, state and federal levels.
• Meets with regulatory agencies to resolve issues.
• Provides guidance on environmental rules and public involvement procedures.
