Job summary

ICF's Environment & Planning Division in Northern California seeks an Environmental Planner to contribute to high-quality environmental analyses across natural resources, land use, transportation, infrastructure, water, and energy projects.

You will work on CEQA/NEPA documents, coordinate with clients and partners, and lead project tasks while supporting project directors, managers, and deputies within a collaborative, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, urban planning, or related field.
• 5 years of professional experience including a minimum of 3 in a consulting or public agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of a project, including personnel allocation/planning, technical approach, and subcontractor involvement.
• Gather data, conduct research, and proficiently write impact assessments for environmental topics (CEQA/NEPA).
• Assist with preparation of documents, reports, presentations, and memoranda.
• Assist with public outreach activities and implement communication strategies.
