Job summary

HDR is seeking an Environmental Planner to assist in preparing and managing local municipal permitting documents and submittals. You will coordinate the permitting schedule within the project design timeline and review technical permitting materials.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in environmental work, a Bachelor's in Environmental Science or related field, and proficiency with MS Office. HDR emphasizes an employee-owned culture and collaborative problem solving across disciplines.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years environmental experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation and management of local municipal permitting documents and components.
  • Prepare, plan, and manage permitting submittals from start to finish.
  • Manage and coordinate permitting schedule for inclusion in overall project/design schedule.
  • Review technical documentation related to permitting.
  • Support and guide project managers, task leads, design leads, etc. through permitting processes.
