Job summary

HDR is seeking an Environmental Planner 2 in Austin, TX to assist in preparing and managing local municipal permitting documents, coordinating permitting submittals, and aligning permitting schedules with overall project timelines. The role supports project managers and design leads through permitting processes with strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities.

  • Assist in preparation and management of local municipal permitting documents and components
  • Prepare, plan, and manage permitting submittals from start to finish
  • Manage and coordinate permitting schedule for inclusion in overall project/design schedule

  • Support and guide project managers, task leads, design leads, etc. through permitting processes

In the role of Environmental Planner 2, we’ll count on you to:

  • Assist in preparation and management of local municipal permitting documents and components
