Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Professional to support environmental permitting of power transmission and generation projects in the Western U.S.

You will join our Colorado team, applying environmental analysis, NEPA processes, and technical study preparation to deliver responsible, well-documented decisions. You will collaborate with resource specialists, engineering teams, and clients, develop project alternatives, assess environmental and social impacts, and help prepare reports and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of environmental experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Responsibilities

• Support environmental permitting for power transmission and generation projects.
• Prepare permits and guide projects through NEPA processes; prepare documents and related reports.
• Collaborate with resource specialists, engineering teams, and clients to identify project needs.
• Develop and screen project alternatives; assess environmental and social impacts; recommend mitigation commitments.
• Collect, assimilate, and manage data including geospatial mapping, research, and agency/client interviews.
