Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks an Environmental Professional to support permitting for power transmission and generation projects in the Western U.S., joining our Colorado team.

You will analyze technical studies, guide projects through NEPA, and prepare detailed reports in collaboration with engineers, resource specialists, and clients. The role emphasizes multitasking, organization, and a proactive, team-oriented approach within our employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years environmental experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental permitting of power transmission and generation projects in the Western U.S.
• Prepare permits and guide projects through NEPA process.
• Develop and screen project alternatives and assess environmental and social impacts.
• Prepare technical reports and manage data, including geospatial mapping and interviews with agencies and clients.
