Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks motivated Environmental Permitting Interns for a 12-week summer program in Houston, Texas. You will gain exposure to air permitting, aquatic resources protection, and cultural resources mitigation across gas and liquids pipeline projects.

Responsibilities include preliminary routing/siting, agency interactions, permit applications, and field visits. Ideal candidates are undergraduate students in Ecology, Biology or related fields with strong willingness to learn and good

Qualifications

  • To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
  • Enrollment in an undergraduate degree program and a minimum completion of Sophomore level engineering courses.
  • Self-motivated individuals with involvement in activities outside college studies.
  • An above average GPA.

Responsibilities

  • Gain familiarity with assets in Energy Transfer's portfolio.
  • Learn air permitting requirements and environmental protection practices.
  • Participate in permit application preparation and tracking.
  • Attend field visits to proposed projects or construction sites.
