Job summary

Civicworks in Temple Terrace, FL seeks an intermediate-level engineer to evaluate permit applications and support stormwater and waste cleanup programs. You will conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports in compliance with regulations, working onsite in the Southwest District.

The role requires knowledge of engineering processes, design, calculations, and data analysis, plus a valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of verifiable related engineering experience (or post-secondary degrees as alternative on year-for-year basis).
• Knowledge of engineering processes, design, calculations, and data analysis.
• Ability to perform field inspections and monitor engineering projects.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and understand applicable regulations and permitting procedures.
• Valid Driver License required with ability to travel.
• Successful completion of background screening (Position of Special Trust designation).
