Job summary

Langan is seeking an Environmental Practice Leader in Florida to lead environmental compliance and EHS services across multiple offices including Tampa, Orlando, Miami, and Jacksonville. You will drive project delivery, regulatory strategy, and team leadership while expanding national capabilities and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or closely related field.
• 12+ years of experience in the environmental field with PM experience in a consulting environment.
• Professional certification preferred (e.g.: PE, CHMM, CSP, CIH).
• Knowledge of Federal, Florida environmental regulations; safety knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to engage in business development and cross-sell services in Florida and nationally.
• Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage environmental compliance projects from start to finish, including proposals, technical oversight, and financials.
• Manage preparation and submission of deliverables under environmental programs (air, wastewater, stormwater, SPCC, EPCRA).
• Develop permitting/regulatory strategy for industrial projects; lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Serve as senior SME for EHS and compliance; conduct audits and permits work; support enforcement matters when needed.
• Lead and develop a team of environmental compliance staff; hire, coach, and supervise.
