Clearway Energy Group in San Francisco is looking for a motivated Associate to join their Environmental Permitting team. This role is critical for ensuring compliance in major development projects related to renewable energy, such as solar and wind.

The position requires at least three years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The Associate will collaborate with various teams and manage permitting activities to facilitate project development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field.
• Strong understanding of discretionary permitting processes.
• Familiarity with CEQA, SEPA, NEPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Support discretionary permitting and environmental survey activities.
• Develop strategy on permit processes and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants.
