Base pay range

$37,000.00/yr - $43,347.00/yr

Position Overview

As a Campus Organizer, you’ll be at the forefront of building a brighter future for all of us — protecting wildlife and wild places, tackling plastic waste, advancing clean energy, and promoting student voting and engagement. We focus on college campuses to develop leaders and mobilize students for environmental and social change.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruit and inspire students to take action on key issues.
  2. Help students run strategic campaigns on issues like plastic reduction, wildlife protection, and college affordability.
  3. Build coalitions with student organizations and volunteers.
  4. Train students in grassroots organizing, lobbying, and media outreach.
  5. Develop a sustainable student-led organization through fundraising and relationship-building.
  6. Lead citizen outreach during summer, managing canvass teams for fundraising and grassroots support, with flexibility for relocation.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary ranges from $37,000 to $43,347, depending on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid sick and vacation leave, commuter benefits, potential student loan assistance, 401(k) with match, parental leave, and disability insurance. Long-term employees gain additional vacation days and career advancement opportunities.

Locations

Positions available across multiple states including Arizona, California, D.C., Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.
