Job Description

We're hiring for Primary Care Clinical Organizers.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • REQUIRED: one of the following certifications to be considered: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • One year of experience in either an office or clinic setting, with experience in the long-term care setting.
  • Preferred if candidates are from North Carolina or South Carolina. Must be in the Eastern Standard Time Zone.

Work Environment/Travel

Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Standard office equipment is provided and required to perform job duties. This is a remote position, requiring the candidate to have a private, quiet, HIPAA-compliant workspace free from distractions.

LifeSource is seeking a customer service-focused Clinical Organizer to join our dynamic Primary Care Team! This role is essential to LifeSource’s commitment to providing quality healthcare and improving patients’ quality of life. This person will support our providers in serving patients by working both onsite and remotely. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist providers with daily documentation in electronic health records.
  • Document lab results, vital signs, visit info, and other clinical data.
  • Act as a liaison between the facility and other functions to meet patient needs.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Director of Customer Service regarding facility and provider needs.
  • Handle patient telephone messages, document encounters, follow protocols, and inform providers.
  • Complete forms accurately to address patient needs.
  • Review provider appointments the day before visits to prepare for patient and provider needs.
  • Communicate with facility staff, patients, and families about care updates and appointments, ensuring documentation and timely communication.
  • Provide professional and personable customer service across all interactions.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with providers, patients, and facility staff.
  • Regularly check emails and communication channels to meet patient needs.
  • Perform other clinical and administrative duties within scope of practice as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Customer service and phone experience.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized.
  • Reliability and dependability.
  • Experience with electronic health records.
  • Prior healthcare scheduling or medical experience.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA laws and medical terminology.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general familiarity with Apple products).
  • Drive to assist patients and staff with tact and diplomacy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate frequently with facilities and patients about requirements, inquiries, and complaints.
