WM in the United States coordinates onsite activities at client locations in relation to the storage, transportation and disposal of waste and other related services, ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations. It manages onsite personnel and serves as a liaison between client and vendors for service issues.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Accounting or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and two years of relevant experience.
• Two years of relevant work experience in addition to the education requirement.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for transportation of waste from client site including scheduling, manifesting, tracking and loading materials.
• Responsible for safe sorting and baling of materials.
• Manage hourly personnel including but not limited to hiring, performance reviews and disciplinary action.
• Coordinate shift assignments to ensure adequate coverage.
• Maintains and exceeds customer expectations.
• Operate site equipment (forklifts, baler, etc.).
• Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety and environmental regulations.

Job description

I. Job Summary

Manages and plans activities of onsite personnel. Serves as liaison between client and vendors in relation to service issues. Maintains pre-established standards for safety and environmental issues.

Hours 1:30pm - 10:30pm

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for transportation of waste from client site including scheduling, manifesting, tracking and loading materials.
• Responsible for safe sorting and baling of materials

• Required to operate site specific equipment (forklifts, baler, etc.).

III. Qualifications

B. Preferred Qualifications

• Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) will be required if project site responsibilities includes the management of hazardous waste
