Job summary

3Degrees, Inc. is seeking a Trading Portfolio Analyst to support portfolio valuation, reporting, and analytical efforts in Portland, ME.

You will analyze portfolios, develop internal tools, and deliver insights to portfolio managers and leadership. You will apply Python, Excel, and Power BI to build scalable solutions, automate routine tasks, and translate complex data into clear business insights for cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in quantitative data analysis.
• Demonstrated financial or accounting literacy with reconciliation knowledge.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for complex reporting.
• Functional proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Familiarity with Power BI and DAX; Tableau experience is acceptable with transition to Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop weekly portfolio valuation reports for front-office stakeholders and leadership.
• Support design and execution of reporting templates and reconciliations across tools.
• Pilot AI interventions and low-code automation to streamline reporting processes.
• Translate complex datasets into actionable insights for portfolio managers and risk teams.
