Job summary

3Degrees, based in Portland, ME, seeks a dedicated operations professional for the North America REC team. The role focuses on end-to-end deal lifecycle, accurate database entry, and cross-functional collaboration across Contracts and Trade Operations to ensure flawless execution of environmental transactions.

You will manage contract verification, delivery logistics, and workflow optimization in a fast-paced setting, supporting REC markets across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in mid-office operations or trade administration
• Experience reviewing basic legal contracts and contracting processes
• Energized by operational rigor, system maintenance and administrative precision
• Enjoy clean data, seamless workflows, and completing complex transactions with precision
• Proficient in Excel at an intermediate level with data manipulation and record verification
• Excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience in fast-paced environments with counterparty and customer outreach

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end deal lifecycle, ensuring accuracy in database entry, contract generation, execution and cross-functional reconciliation
• Manage positions and reflect deal terms across internal records in collaboration with stakeholders
• Handle contracting responsibilities with timely and accurate processing of agreements with counterparties
• Collaborate across departments to solve contract issues and verify deal data
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external trading firms to align deal terms
• Support transition to new trading platforms and suggest improvements to workflows
• Oversee inventory tracking, delivery execution and allocation of REC supply across tracking systems
• Assist Origination and Trading with data inputs, contract verification and delivery logistics
• Build operating understanding of renewable markets and regulatory frameworks
• Continuously refine workflows and documentation to scale efficiency
