Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks an Environmental Litigation Associate to join our Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in environmental and toxic tort litigation, with experience in agency enforcement defense and regulatory compliance counseling.

The role involves litigating complex environmental cases, drafting briefs, supporting depositions, and managing discovery while collaborating with a team of professionals.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental statutes, including CERCLA and California's Prop 65.
• Admitted to the state bar or eligible to waive in.
• Strong case management skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Litigate complex environmental cases, including CERCLA/RCRA and land use litigation.
• Draft briefs, correspondence, and discovery responses.
• Prepare and support depositions and oral arguments.
• Manage discovery processes effectively.
