Overview

• The Environmental Litigation Practice Group is known for taking on complex environmental problems and securing wins in court, particularly in litigating scientific and regulatory issues.
• The group's lawyers litigate across a spectrum of environmental law, including CERCLA/RCRA Litigation, Natural Resources and Endangered Species, and Land Use Litigation.
• Candidates are required to have a strong background in environmental / toxic tort litigation.
• Essential experience includes agency enforcement defense, regulatory compliance counseling, and conducting environmental diligence for corporate transactions.
• Knowledge of federal and state environmental statutes, specifically CERCLA and California’s Prop 65, is necessary.
• Candidates must be experienced in drafting briefs, correspondence, and written discovery responses, as well as preparing and supporting depositions, oral arguments, and managing discovery.
