Job summary

A regional engineering firm in Tulsa seeks an Environmental Specialist to manage field data collection and prepare environmental studies for infrastructure projects. This role requires a Bachelor's degree related to planning or environmental sciences, along with at least 5 years of NEPA project experience. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with planning and/or project development under NEPA, particularly in transportation projects.
• Wetland and Stream delineation certification from an accredited source (40-hour course).
• Ability to work collaboratively in both leadership and support roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead field teams on various projects in Oklahoma and potentially surrounding states.
• Review and apply procedures for compliance with environmental regulations under NEPA.
• Prepare technical reports, planning studies, and NEPA documents.
• Prepare regulatory permits and approvals in compliance with environmental laws.
