Job summary

Garver invites applications for an Environmental Field Lead in the Oklahoma City area. The role involves leading Natural Resources field teams on diverse projects across multiple lines, with NEPA documentation and regulatory permitting responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, 5+ years of relevant experience (or 2+ years with a Master’s), and a 40-hour wetlands delineation certification. Strong writing and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to planning or environmental sciences.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or 2 years with a Master’s degree.
  • Experience with planning and/or project development under NEPA, particularly for transportation projects.
  • Wetland and Stream delineation certification (40-hour course).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on a collaborative team, in leadership and support roles.
  • Proficiency in technical writing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Natural Resources field teams on various projects in Oklahoma and potentially surrounding states.
  • Review and apply NEPA compliance procedures.
  • Prepare technical reports, planning studies, and NEPA documents.
  • Prepare regulatory permits and approvals in line with environmental laws.
