Job summary

Garver seeks an Environmental Field Lead to support field data collection, NEPA documentation, and environmental studies for infrastructure projects from our Tulsa office.

You will lead Natural Resources field teams, review NEPA procedures, and prepare technical reports and regulatory permits across multiple business lines. This role emphasizes collaboration, technical writing, and a focus on diverse project types within a growing environmental team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to planning or environmental sciences.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required, or 2 years with a Master’s degree.
  • Experience with planning and/or project development under NEPA, particularly with regards to transportation projects.
  • Wetland and Stream delineation certification (40-hour course).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on a collaborative team, both leadership and support roles.
  • Proficiency in technical writing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Natural Resources field teams on various projects, including water resources and threatened and endangered (T&E) related field efforts in Oklahoma and potentially surrounding states.
  • Review and apply procedures for compliance with environmental regulations under NEPA.
  • Prepare technical reports, planning studies, and NEPA documents.
  • Prepare regulatory permits and approvals in compliance with environmental laws.
