Job summary

Coeur Rochester is seeking an Environmental Superintendent for the Lovelock, NV operation. You will lead the Environmental Team, ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and drive regulatory reporting and NEPA activities. Relocation is provided for this 4 days on / 3 days off schedule.

The role requires 7+ years of mining environmental experience or 12 years of equivalent leadership, with strong GIS and communications skills and proficiency in Office products.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or technical degree in environmental, biological, or earth sciences with 7 years of mining environmental experience.
• Alternatively, 12 years of equivalent environmental management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Federal and State regulations and permit requirements.
• Proven leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mining and exploration operations comply with environmental laws and regulations.
• Review, finalize and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
• Provide support on water, waste, air quality, and contractor management.
• Assist with amendments to the Plan of Operations and NEPA activities.
• Complete permit renewals and lead environmental compliance efforts.
• Lead closure and reclamation planning, reporting, and projects.
• Develop and update monitoring and reporting protocols with regulatory alignment.
