Job summary

Coeur Mining, Inc. is seeking a Mine Geology Superintendent for the Rochester operation near Lovelock, NV. This role provides leadership to the geology department, reporting to the Manager of Technical Services, with relocation required to Lovelock and a 4 days on/3 days off schedule.

Responsibilities include managing staff, overseeing geology and geotechnical activities, ensuring QA/QC, data management, and producing technical reports.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology or Geological Engineering required; Master’s asset.
• Strong open-pit mining experience with geology oversight.
• Experience with geological modeling, grade control, and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Mine Geology group and geotechnical activities.
• Oversee staff performance, training, and development.
• Ensure accurate geological modeling, data integrity, and reports.
