Job summary

Talantage, LLC is actively seeking two Environmental & Land Use Associates for our Los Angeles office. The role involves drafting briefs and motions in environmental/land use matters, conducting legal research, and advising clients on compliance with environmental laws.

Ideal candidates hold a California-licensed J.D., 2–5 years of related experience, and strong writing, analytical and advocacy skills. Clerksihip is a plus, with collaborative work across offices.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 2–5 years of legal experience in environmental and/or land use matters.
• Experience drafting briefs and motions (required).
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
• Exceptional writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft briefs, motions, and other legal documents in connection with environmental and land use matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation and regulatory proceedings.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local environmental laws and land use regulations.
• Support senior attorneys in case strategy, hearings, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice areas on complex environmental and land use issues.
