Qualifications

• Substantive experience practicing land use, planning and zoning, and environmental law in California.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, including in designing and implementing advocacy that consistently obtains high-quality results.
• Demonstrated interest in sustainable development which minimizes public health and environmental harm while maximizing community benefits.
• Excellent legal research, analytic and writing skills.
• Outstanding and persuasive written or oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in permitting proceedings for major development projects across the state.
• Work on energy, environmental and land use policy, regulatory and legislative issues.
