Adams- is a boutique California law firm in Carlsbad seeking an Associate Attorney to handle environmental, land use, municipal, real estate, construction, and business matters. This is a litigation-focused role with direct client exposure and strong mentorship.

You will work with partners on sophisticated matters, with hybrid scheduling and relocation assistance if needed. Requirements include 2+ years of litigation experience, excellent writing and research skills, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating with a team.
• Environmental or land use experience is a plus, but not required.
• Direct access to partners and clients.
• Strong mentorship and training.

Responsibilities

• Advise public and private clients on environmental and land use matters.
• Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis.
• Review CEQA and NEPA compliance documents.
• Participate in litigation matters from discovery through resolution.
• Attend hearings, meetings, and administrative proceedings.
• Work closely with experienced partners on sophisticated matters.
