Job summary

Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled ECLT to perform profile verification sampling of mixed waste at PFF, including documentation, storage, and QA/QC activities.

Responsibilities include sampling, chain of custody, and liaison with treatment chemists to support waste treatment operations. The role requires OSHA Hazwoper certification, radiation safety training, and strong organizational skills to manage analytical data and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper with 8-hour refresher.
• 16-hour radiation safety training with 4-hour refresher.
• Knowledge of RCRA waste codes and Facility Process Codes.

Responsibilities

• Sample and inspect As Received mixed waste and document chain of custody.
• Maintain sampling log books and container integrity records.
• Perform QA/QC on containers for labeling and storage compliance.
• Decontaminate sampling equipment and room after events.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and analyze samples.
• Prepare standards and QA samples; evaluate procedures for accuracy.
• Organize data and report results to staff/requestors.
