Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing America is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support routine lab operations with accuracy and timeliness. You will perform sample prep, manage reagents, and help maintain the lab environment in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include preparing samples for metals analysis, learning the LIMS system, and assisting in multiple areas as needed while adhering to QA procedures and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Chemistry coursework preferred.
• Basic laboratory experience preferred; production-oriented work helpful.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; samples in coolers with ice.
• Must read, write, and speak English; authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Perform sample preparation including aliquoting, spiking, and concentrating.
• Prepare reagents and bottle samples; ensure proper labeling and tracking.
• Set up liquid racks and maintain laboratory work areas.
• Wash glassware and stock supplies; assist other areas as needed.
