Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support daily lab operations, including cleaning, preparation/extraction, and stocking of supplies, following SOPs and quality programs. This role may involve standing, handling chemicals, and working with glassware and equipment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong English, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient in English; reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Previous lab experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs, written, and verbal instructions.
• Perform routine laboratory cleaning.
• Dispose of chemical waste using approved methods.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Enter data into LIMS.
• Wash and inventory glassware and equipment; prepare equipment for shipping.
• Maintain training documentation (training records, IDOC/DOC).
• Complete QC samples on schedule (MDL, LOD/LOQ, PT).
• Adhere to health and safety and quality assurance standards.
• Assist in other areas of the lab; may perform extractions as needed.
