Job summary

Onterris Richmond, VA laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support multiple projects, interact with multidisciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. Expect a full-time schedule and base pay ranging from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities include receiving environmental samples, data entry in LIMS, labeling and shipping samples, inventory management and occasional driving for pickups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Some laboratory experience is preferred but not required.
• Must pass drug screening and have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives environmental samples into the laboratory according to SOPs.
• Performs data entry of sample/test information into LIMS.
• Label, store and manage sample containers; coordinate with departments for timing.
• Complete inventory and place orders as needed.
• Occasional driving for pickups; follow QA and safety procedures.
