Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of analytical methods and laboratory safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare water and soil samples
• Assist in sample receiving
• Cleaning of laboratory glassware
• Maintaining clean laboratory areas
• Maintaining organized records of sample preparation and analysis
• Overhead projects to improve efficiency/accuracy
• Assist leaders and analysts with consumables and instrumentation
• Comply with Quality Assurance Program and Health and Safety Plan
• Other duties as assigned by Group Leader or Lab Director
