Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking a Scientist to join our environmental testing laboratory in Minnesota. In this role, you will perform hands-on analysis using instruments such as GC, HPLC, and ICP to ensure data quality for air, water, and soil samples.

You will document methods and results, maintain calibration of equipment, and work Monday through Friday 7 AM to 4 PM. A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related STEM field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or STEM field.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment with PPE and odors.

Responsibilities

• Work with instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP and more
• Analyze air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods looking for environmental contaminants
• Review and interpret the results from the sample analysis
• Accurately document procedures, observations, and results to maintain high-quality, organized laboratory records
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment
