Pace is seeking a Scientist I to join our Beaver, WV environmental testing laboratory on-site. You will conduct hands-on analysis of air, water, and soil samples, using established chemistry and biochemistry methods and calibrating instruments such as GC, HPLC and ICP.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry (or a related STEM field) and has lab experience, with the ability to work safely while using PPE. This full-time role offers a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a STEM field is required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a laboratory setting, with PPE and safety procedures.
• Experience handling standard analytical instruments desirable.

• Perform hands-on analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established methods.
• Operate laboratory instruments such as GC, HPLC, ICP; maintain records and calibrate equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and results; ensure data quality and compliance.
