Job summary

Pace® is seeking a Lab Technician I to join the environmental testing laboratory. You will support scientists by preparing water and soil samples, following established prep procedures, and handling solvents and chemicals in a compliant setting.

As part of the sample preparation team, you’ll maintain thorough documentation and use protective equipment while conducting tests. This is a full-time role in our Beaver location with standard weekday hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare water and soil samples prior to analysis.
• Follow a variety of established sample preparation procedures.
• Work with various solvents and chemicals for the preparation of samples.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
